Internships
The School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies encourages students to pursue internships that are related to their career aspirations and bear directly on the disciplines housed within the school. Internships provide practical experience for students that complement their formal academic class-based studies. Depending on the internship site, internships may be voluntary or paid.
Undergraduate Research Experience
SHPRS’ Undergraduate Research Experience places undergraduate students into research assistant opportunities working with individual faculty members on their research projects. Students may earn up to 6 hours of elective credits (and in some cases, apply them towards their major). All students in good academic standing are invited to apply (minimum GPA 2.0).
