Student Life

Life at ASU

Students at ASU enjoy countless opportunities to grow outside of the classroom. At the School of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies, students can take advantage of research opportunities with faculty, study abroad programs, internships, and student organizations.

As a small school, we are a close community and everyone from the director to our students regularly volunteer for our events. The generosity of our alumni and friends makes it possible for us to offer scholarships to our students, asdie from waht is offered by the college and university.

Our Secret Garden Party and Scholarship Celebration is an opportunity to mingle with faculty, alumni and donors. It is a chance to welcome incoming students, send off our graduating seniors, and to interact with and thank our donors, who are always interested in learning about the new research happening at SHPRS.

Students from any discipline can work on a faculty led project at our Applied Humanities Lab. Some of our current projects include topics such as incarceration, Dreamers, and the future of food. If you want to get involved, asking your advisor is a good place to start!
