Joseph  Thomason is a graduate student in Religious Studies specializing in Modern Islam. He received a B.A. in Religious Studies, a B.A. in History, and a Certificate in Islamic Studies from Arizona State University.

The historical development of Islamism in the Muslim World

The role of religion in Ancient, Early Modern, and Modern politics and diplomacy

Current American public policy concerning the Muslim World with an emphasis on Iran and Central Asia

Historical-Critical scholarship of the New Testament, Christian Apocrypha, and early Islamic Sources
